Brian Atkinson directs Suzanne Bradbeers’ sidesplitting love-letter to theater.
Hollywood, CA- The ‘show that got away’ is having its Hollywood premier at the Castex Daylight Loft on June 8th at 8pm as part of this year’s Hollywood Fringe festival. It will run until June 29th.
In March of 2020, Shakespeare in Vegas was about to make its Fringe debut, only for the world to shut down.
Self-tapes from hopeful actors were filed away and wouldn't resurface until 3 years later when Smith and director Brian Atkinson began the casting process once again.
Shakespeare in Vegas mirrors the very real challenges of bringing any show to fruition, no matter who you are or where you are.
With the promise of being the star she’s always believed she should be, serious actress Margot leaves behind the elite theater circles of New York to pursue her dream roles on the glamorous stages of… Las Vegas, NV. Following in the footsteps of Vegas legends like Liberace and Carrot Top, she soon realizes that her career gamble may be a far cry from the comeback she was hoping for… but it may also be exactly what she needs.
This ensemble comedy is a hilarious and painfully accurate depiction of the world of theater, art, and those who wish to make it their lives.
Shakespeare in Vegas will preview on Saturday, June 8th at 8pm with ‘Pay What You Can’ tickets, including a Vegas-Inspired Opening Celebration at 7pm.

This New-Media Series documents the dramatic and harrowing interactions of call-center agents, and the customers who rely on them in their darkest hour. From being locked out of an online account, to a missing food delivery that has been marked as 'completed,' these are the faceless heroes who right the wrongs and shoulder the burden of modern-day customer-service. "Thank You for Calling" pulls back the curtain on whose there to help in a callers most desperate moment; having to talk to an actual human.
This hilarious feature is a love letter to 'American Movie', 'Blair Witch', and Christopher Guest.
An improvised romp of comedy and dark humor.
